About Us



 Foods and Surrounding was born during the summer of 2012. It was created by Dr. Marcello Cepollaro a  Food Technology Graduate . I held a massive job experience in Industrial Food Production and Food Quality control process. This aspect allows to ensure the safety and the organolectic features to the industrial, home made and short scale foods transformation. I get experience in the Chemical and Microbiological Laboratory, where several food analysis were made, I have managed analisis processes to ensure the quality standards to the process and to be able to deliver foods to the commercial system.


 I followed two training courses to be aligible to take part to " List of National Technical and Expert Tasters of Extra Virgin olive oil in Italy.
 I've been getting since 2011 several job collaborations with Food Companies and Industries in Italy as NPD Food Technologist and Food Technologist. In 2012/2013 I began working to own idea of a Blog-site, so during the summer of 2012 The Italian site "Agroalimenti e Dintorni" bore, with my Blog-site I started my Project until today, at the same time several lessons about food Productions and QA control have been set on with professionist in the food sectors in the future





Now "Agroalimenti e Dintorni", the Italian Blog-site, it's translated in English and it is changed completely into the new British site, namely: "Foods and Surrondings ( Grande amore Food UK)". 
The main Topic of the Blog site it is, to speak about Food Productions, Food Quality assurance, to argue about Scientific articles and Breaking News of Foods, the Engineering, the Developping of Food Transformation.

 The Editor of AgroeD consists of a team of person involved in the food topic and with passion deal with  Quality and Technology sector, some of our co-workers have already briefly described on this page, others will be soon.


Drafter about "History of Food"


My name is Claudia Cepollaro several interesting informations will be showed by my articles about the  History of foods. With me, the ancient traditions and way to live the food productions will be able to bring alive. I graduated in Contemporary History Studies, I'm a Drafter for several Italian Web-Newspapers too and I speak about Hystory, Breaking news and Events. Now, a lot of articles will be written on Foods and Surroundings too.

 



The main idea of "Quality Project" is training , telling, sensitize the consumers to their choice of Good Quality Food. 
As result it's crucial to give right informations about all the aspects that are including into a product, from the beginning to the its end, infact Everyone of us knows how it is important to be able to be a good consumer, In addiction, the Choose is the Fondation of a happy and healthy life, eating as well and tastefully means enjoy our life and give to our body that's it really needs.
The purpose of my project, is to give voice to everyone that is involved into this sort of clue: Consumers, Retailers, Manufacturers and Companies that transform raw materials giving  a certainty and transparency of the facts for their possible choice of quality. 
 It's also a chance for Producers which make participatory techniques of production to give informations to their Consumers about their products. We will see them, but not under the light of a symplex reflector that it can transform the reality.
 The quality begins from the small things. 






Our Teams

A so hard work that deals with several arguments and technical sectors needs a massive collaboration. During the time Food and surrondings had built a network of people that daily work to write breaking news, technical writings, writing informations, promoting food producers. We have 4 teams marked with different colours:


 


  Red Team


  The Team is formed by 5 people, Food processing lines, Technical information about industrial process and systems are analized.


  Yellow Team


It is composed by 3 people that write about Food Quality topics, Food Hygiene, HACCP, Safety and QA of Food production, and  Chemical and microbiological topics are focused on.




  Green Team


It is composed by 2 people that write about Zootechnic and Vegetables production and They speak about Food nutrition and Deaseases.



Purple Team


The Team, composed by 3 people,write about promoting, breaking news, they write articles about Food for other web newspapers  and they manage the Pubblic relations.





Food and Surrondings is the British Version of Italian one, namey Agroalimenti e Dintorni  from Semptember 16, 2015.
